How it works

Pick, drag, done

It plays just like a real puzzle on the table, only tidier.

  1. Home screen with a grid of level pictures: level 1 shows a Play button and the other levels are greyed out and locked

    Pick a puzzle

    Start with level 1, or open today's Daily Puzzle.

  2. The first few jigsaw pieces placed on the board, with more pieces waiting in the tray

    Drag the pieces

    Drag pieces from the scrolling tray onto the board. Each one snaps into place with a satisfying click and vibration.

  3. Level 1 Completed! screen with confetti, the finished picture, and a reward of +5 points

    See the picture come together

    Place the last piece and the finished picture is revealed with a confetti celebration.

Earn points, climb the ranks

Earn 5 points for every puzzle you finish and work your way up through seven ranks:

  • Beginner
  • Apprentice
  • Puzzler
  • Skilled
  • Expert
  • Master
  • Grandmaster

Out of hints? Spend 50 points on 2 more, or watch a short video for a free hint.

Level 1 starts with 30 pieces, and each level adds more, all the way up to 400 pieces. Finish a level to unlock the next. A new picture every time.

Questions, answered

Is Jigsaw Puzzle free?

Yes. Jigsaw Puzzle is free to download and play. It's supported by ads.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no account and no sign-up. Just open the app and play. Your progress, points and settings stay on your device.

How do points and hints work?

You earn 5 points for every puzzle you finish, and your points move you up the ranks from Beginner to Grandmaster. Each puzzle comes with 3 hints. When you run out, you can spend 50 points on 2 more hints, or watch a short video for a free hint.

Can I play past Daily Puzzles?

Yes. There's a new 49-piece Daily Puzzle every day, and you can go back and play the previous days' puzzles from the Daily Puzzles list.

How do I reset my progress?

Open the Me tab and choose Reset all progress. This deletes your progress, points and settings from the device. Because nothing is stored online, it can't be undone.

Which devices can I play on?

Jigsaw Puzzle is made for Android phones (Google Play) and iPhone (App Store).
